COLOUR UNION is a father and son team that love to draw and paint. My son Adam is blessed with a wild imagination and an intuitive understanding of colour and composition. Adam draws and creates the composition and I attempt to bring the drawing to life by adding colour.
The process of creating these paintings has brought us both great joy and continues to strengthen the bond between father and son.
Me and Adam hope that these works of art will bring great joy to the viewer and encourage them to start on their own journey of self discovery and self expression through a medium of their choosing.

“I am led by the hand and I have come to offer no resistance for it takes me places I could never imagine. I must only know when I have arrived for that I believe is the mark of an accomplished creator of beauty.”
My creative journey began at a very young age fuelled by an unbound imagination and the ability to make up some wacky stories in my head which I was eager to put down on paper to show the adults around.
As a kid attending boarding school I had the privilege of taking extensive lessons in art disciplines such as drawing, painting and sculpture which helped provide a good foundation early in my creative journey. After finishing school, I went on to do a year of art school before joining one of the premier design colleges in the country where I spent 6 years studying Product Design.
I continued to draw and paint on the side until the COVID pandemic, and the subsequent lockdown which made me what to seriously rethink my life and career choices. In late 2019 I decided to take the plunge and dedicate myself completely to pursuing art as a full-time profession. I now use drawing, painting, sculpture and music as mediums of self reflection and self expression which I hope share with as many people as I can.
Through my work I aim to draw connections I perceive between the physical and metaphysical world. I hope to plant a seed of thought in the viewers mind that would come to life and grow in their own mental landscape. I enjoy using nonconventional subjects and metaphors to creative my visual language to communicate. I do not have a medium of choice; the thought or image always dictates the medium and the technique best suited for effective communication. I work in oil, acrylic, pastels, charcoal and mixed medium.
